“Just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, death came to all because they had sinned. Adam is a type of the one who is to come. “[Romans 5:12]

A cool breeze rises in the sky, dusk is vast and vast, and the mountains and forests rise in layers. At the foot of the mountain, Adam stood like a stump burned by fire, haggard and stubborn. He stood before Eve’s tomb, his beard white drifting in the wind, tears streaming down his face. Through his tears, his dim eyes seemed to see that afternoon nine hundred years ago. In Eden, Eve rushed to him in a panic, holding the forbidden fruit she had just eaten, threw herself into his arms, tears in her eyes, tightly clutching his arm, as if afraid he might disappear at any moment.

“I ate the forbidden fruit, you should eat it too. I love you so much, you eat it as I do. After eating it, we become like God, knowing good and evil. Adam looked at his beautiful wife, his heart filled with compassion, and he bit down the fruit Eve had brought to his mouth.

In that moment, the most precious work was shattered, and what was lost could never be returned to its beginning. At that moment, he suddenly felt an instinctive longing for eternity, wishing he could always hold his beloved wife and look into her delicate eyes. In that instant, fear struck his heart like lightning. They had broken God’s command and eaten the forbidden fruit. When would God punish them to die? He picked fig leaves to shield himself and Eve, hiding in the woods.

A cool breeze rose, the sun set in the west, and God walked in the Garden of Eden. He had long seen Adam holding Eve’s hand and hiding in the forest. “Where are you, kid?” God gently called to him.

When they ate the forbidden fruit, didn’t God’s heart also break along with His works? But the greatest right and dignity God gives people is freedom; their greatest gift is having the image of God; their greatest privilege is to be free and unrestrained with God.

They sin, unaware that death has come upon them—they are dead in spirit, separated from God by sin, and can never be with Him again; The bell of death within their bodies has been triggered, and from then on, illness and frailty will accompany them until the soul leaves the body and the body returns to dust; They are no longer free; from then on, pride, jealousy, and anger will bind their hearts. They thought eating the forbidden fruit would make them like God, but they didn’t realize it would tarnish God’s image and lead them to death.

God was waiting for the hiding man to come to Him. The flower of sin has already bloomed, the fruit of sin is bound to wither, yet the source of sin lies in Satan’s corruption and temptation. God first prophesied judgment on Satan: “I will make you and the woman an enemy; Your offspring and the woman’s offspring are also enemies of one another.

The offspring of the woman will crush your head; You want to hurt his heel. ” – The mystery of this prophecy will only be revealed thousands of years later, but God must personally pay the price.

The great price is because God loves people deeply. Because of Adam, humanity fell, but God wanted to become the second Adam to save humanity. The cool wind grew stronger, the sun set, and Adam still stood guard at Eve’s tomb.

His beloved Eve had left him, and he felt his strength waning, soon to pursue her. He looked toward the place where the sun set, Eden in his dreams, where are you? Where do we find our early days? Nine hundred years ago, on that twilight evening, the couple were driven out of the garden by God because of sin, and had to work to survive, but the land grew thorns because of sin.

Animals were also dragged into death, beginning to prey on the weak, fearing humans, and not being restrained. For nine hundred years, they have borne many children, and the land is filled with their descendants, yet he sadly sees sinfulness spreading like a virus spreading in the heart to his descendants. The ground was filled with greed, deception, brutality, and slaughter. How could a family member act like this?

The Satan who deceived Eve at first, how cruel he was. Adam stood facing the wind, and in the last ray of light, he reminisced about the last glimpse of God from years ago—God stood tall in the garden, radiating glory, confident and composed.

That warm glance made him believe that God would never abandon his descendants; otherwise, at that dusk, at that moment of judgment, how could God have made them garments of animal skins? But God, how are you supposed to deal with these completely out of control and disorder among the rioting crowd!
