Third, a pastoral ministry set up with the primary directive to support pastors. Starting with the local Chinese community, this arm offers mentorship, training, and resources to strengthen leadership and ministry efforts. Together, these ministries aim to uplift individuals and communities, guiding them toward success, stewardship, and faith. As these facets continue to develop, Ascension Ministries may continue to evolve and develop other opportunities to serve the community. Ascension Wealth Management
Wealth management is a targeted ministry that is evolving to empower individuals to manage their finances with purpose, using wealth not only for personal gain but also to serve others. It’s about a ministry that leverages various platforms to reach wider audiences and inspire financial stewardship rooted in faith. Such platforms include but are not limited to:
· Podcasts provide an engaging way to share financial advice and faith-based teachings, featuring experts and testimonies that inspire listeners to align wealth with service to others.
· Columns in websites, magazines, or blogs offer written guidance on budgeting, investing, and charitable giving, while exploring the spiritual aspects of wealth and stewardship.
· Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) allows ministries to communicate tips, motivational posts and success stories, fostering real-time engagement and building an engaged community focused on using wealth for good.
· Workshops, Financial Literacy Courses & Webinars teach practical financial skills like budgeting and investing, emphasizing the connection between financial decisions and faith. These events encourage responsible wealth management with a faith-centered approach.
By combining these platforms, wealth management ministries can inspire and educate people to use their financial resources in ways that reflect their values and positively impact their communities.
Cents of Accomplishment
Cents of Accomplishment: Success in Business, Faith and Life; Measured in Your Own Currency is a book in draft form that redefines success by blending practical business strategies, personal values, and astute financial planning. It encourages readers to measure their achievements not only by financial gains, but by what truly matters to them in both business and life.
The book provides actionable insights on how to thrive in business by making decisions that align with personal goals, and long-term fulfillment. It incorporates essential tax advice as part of its strategies, helping readers optimize their financial planning, while providing sound guidance on minimizing tax liabilities. Through practical real-life examples and insightful business concepts, Cents of Accomplishment offers a roadmap to achieving success on one’s own terms, empowering individuals to
align their career with their values, grow their wealth wisely, and live a life that is a reflection of their true priorities.
The longer term objective of developing the book is to create another revenue stream for the charity and using the book as a platform for growing awareness of our overall ministry.
Pastoral Ministries
The Pastoral Ministry of Ascension Ministries is dedicated to supporting pastors, beginning with the local Chinese community, by offering mentorship, training, and resources to strengthen their leadership and ministry efforts. Recognizing the unique challenges that pastors in immigrant communities face, this ministry provides tailored guidance to help them effectively serve and connect with their congregations.
Through pastoral care, leadership development programs, workshops, retreats and educational resources, the ministry equips pastors with the tools they need to thrive in their roles and to manage the many day-to-day challenges. Special emphasis is placed on understanding cultural nuances and fostering strong relationships within the community.
In addition to traditional support, the ministry also provides networking opportunities, allowing pastors to share experiences and connect with a sense of unity among fellow leaders. By investing in the spiritual and professional growth of pastors, Ascension Ministries aims to empower them to lead with confidence, wisdom, and compassion.
