Carefully evaluate not only what you are being taught but from whom you are learning it. Does their life line up with the Word of God.

你要对所学内容及教授人做一认真评估。他们(教授者)的生命是否与 神的道连接?

Examine your own life carefully. Is you profession of faith in Christ genuine?

细细省察自己的行为。你在基督里的信仰告白是真诚的吗?

What are you building your counseling on? 你把辅导建立在什么之上?

Are you building on the sand of the world’s thoughts, ideas and ways?

是否建在属世的意念、思想、道路之上?

Are you building on the rock of faith and obedience to Christ?

是否建立在对基督信靠顺服的磐石之上?

Will what you do stand the tests: 你是否确实能承受住以下考验:

Of the storms of life in your own life and the lives of others? 你和他人生命中的暴风骤雨?

Of Christ Himself when we will give an account of ourselves? 将我们自己的事在基督面前说明?

Yes, a sober and serious word to end our sessions on. But what good is a lot of talk about the topic of counseling if we do not do self-confrontation?
